This week’s journal page is all about the things that influence us. We are influenced all the time without even realising it, sometimes in a good way and sometimes in a bad way. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says “Do not be fooled: ‘Bad friends will ruin good habits.’” This means we need to be careful about the people we spend time with, because their habits will rub off on us. It is far easier to be hard-working and behave positively when those around us are encouraging us to do so. Who influences you in a positive way?

A prayer:

Dear God, thank you for showing me the right way to live. Help me to follow Jesus’ example and resist negative influences and temptations. Give me good role models to learn from and help me be a role model to others. Amen.
