A Level & BTEC Targets Smashed


It’s 100% success and smiles all round from ESLA's final class as all students achieved their aspirational goal of a University place, Higher Level Apprenticeship, or employment.

There were A’s across the board for Head Boy Connor Duffy, off to study Computer Science and Mathematics at Durham University. He really represents the core Christian values of the academy and is a real model student. We really will miss him!

With 5 Distinction stars, Demi Murphy will certainly impress as she leaves to study Business Management at The University of Liverpool. Ewan Doran, who is a real credit to the academy, leaves with an impressive 4 Distinction * to study Digital Media at Salford University. 55% of students have secured a place at University with over half being at a prestigious Russell Group University.

This year we have a really diverse mix of destinations and courses reflecting the wide curriculum offer here plus valuable careers advice and guidance offered to all students. Stephen Ho is off to study Chinese and International Business at the University of Leeds, joined by Laura Chan who has been successful in her choice to study Asian Pacific studies with Japanese.

Morgan Ryan achieved 4 Distinction * and is off to Edge Hill to pursue his dream in Website Design and Development whist Jamie Rasmussen succeeds in his dream  of a degree in Engineering at Liverpool.

Art delivered as always and this year there were smiles all round were supported by University places.  2 students are off to Manchester Metropolitan University to study International Fashion Promotion, whilst Lauren Hitchmough, Our Head Girl, has secured her place to study photography and journalism at Edinburgh University.

Olivia Berry has beaten 30 others to secure a Higher Level Apprenticeship with Liverpool Law Firm DWF. After 2 years studying Health and Social Care and with a record number of students achieving distinction*, 5 students have been successful in their choice to study either  nursing at Chester, social policy, childhood and youth education studies at Hope University of Liverpool John Moores University.

This is a fantastic outcome and platform for the Lunch of All Saints Sixth Form College which launches this September in tandem with The Academy of St Nicholas.
